The state emblem is approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 2, 1992 No. 616-XII “On the state emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The national emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is represented as follows: mountains, rivers and left sparks of sunlight over a flowering valley surrounded by ears of wheat ears, and cotton branches to the right. At the top of the coat of arms is an octagon symbolizing the freedom of the Republic, with a crescent moon and a star inside. In the center of the coat of arms, a humo bird with wings is a symbol of happiness and love. At the bottom of the emblem on the strip of tape symbolizing the State flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is written "Uzbekistan".
In the color of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan: humo birds and rivers - silver; the sun, ears, cotton balls and the inscription "Uzbekistan" - in gold; branches and leaves of cotton, mountains and valleys - green; cotton in skins - white; ribbon - three-color, reflecting the colors of the State flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan; octagonal - blue with a gold border; the crescent and stars are white.
